Sample, Stroll and Shop your way through the Village of Pinehurst on Saturday evening February 8th, at this Pre-Valentine’s Day event the Chocolate Affair. Let Pinehurst show you some Love! You can sample your way through Pinehurst’s historic Village with chocolate everything, cakes, candies, chili, beef, and more!  It is all about the love of two decadent things, chocolate and fine foods.  So bring your friends, spouse or special someone and indulge in chocolate, some good food and a leisurely stroll in the shops around the Village.

The historic Village of Pinehurst is calling all chocoholics for an exciting evening of small bites.  This event will feature 12  different tasting locations where you can sample the largest gathering of chocolate in Moore county.  Tickets are available now for $40 per person.

On Saturday evening, February 4th, just before Valentine’s Day, the Village of Pinehurst will be transformed into a connoisseur’s delight.  Each tasting location will feature a sample of food or chocolate  to tantalize your senses.  Even our locally owned restaurants and chefs are getting on the act by creating unique dishes with a chocolate flair; think traditional Chicken in Mole sauce or chili with a touch of cocoa as the base, delicate dark chocolate candies infused with balsamic vinegar, or deep, dark molten chocolate cake.

(near Kohls), by calling (910) 687-0377 or online at Eventbrite  Tickets are limited and we anticipate a sellout, so get your tickets today for $40.  The event will begin with three different shot-gun starts; 3:30pm, 4:30p, & 5:30pm  This will minimize waiting for samples and provide a good traffic flow.  Plan about two hours to hit all the stops! Upon check-in, at Agora Bakery & Cafe located on Chinquapin,  each participant will  will receive your chocolate tasting guide identifying each sampling locations along with a list of merchants who will be providing wine samplings paired specifically for the evening.
